Accurate engineering means customers can explore unlimited styles and sizes with perfectly accurate 3D renders — instantly!

Patio3D is aware of every structural detail in the ICC-ESR reports.

Such as:

  1. The maximum side overhang can’t exceed 25% of the post spacing.
  2. The maximum panel or rafter overhang can’t exceed 25% of the clear span.
  3. Freestanding patios always require constrained footings.
  4. A concrete slab is required whenever constrained footings are used.
  5. Footings are required if the patio's width is less than 100% of its projection up to C150, or less than 110–120% at higher wind loads.
  6. When a constrained footing is required, the larger uplift or constrained footing from the header is used.
  7. The ONSLAB post spacing replaces the header's spacing when its value is smaller and a slab is present.
  8. For 2-post structures, the ONSLAB post spacing is replaced with the value from Table 7.1.
